Vilangankunnu, Thrissur
 
Vilangankunnu is a situated in 7 km away from Thrissur. This hillock has been converted by the Tourism Department as an amusement park. This is a beautiful hill which is a good picnic spot. The Children's Park on this beautiful hillside picnic spot offers amusement rides, where children can relax and play. While grown ups relish the scenic beauty of Thrissur town and kol wetlands of Thrissur from the hilltop. Many people came here to enjoy the beauty of sunset. The breeze of Vilangankunnu that pass through heart make us cool, and bring us to the world of natural beauty.
 
The Tourism Department as well as State Medicinal Plants Board, Thrissur joins hands to make the hill more greenish, so in future Vilangankunnu become a notable tourist place in Thrissur.
