Thrikkakara Temple, Kochi
 

Thrikkakara Temple (Thrikkakara Vamanamoorthy Temple) is one of the very few temples in India dedicated to Lord Vamana. It is situated in Thrikkakara, a village panchayat near Cochin in the state of Kerala, South India. The "Vamanamoorthy" temple has notable inscriptions dating back to the 10th-13th century. The temple houses some lithic records of historic significance. The most important event of the religious calendar here is Onam. The Onasadya or the Onam feast is held in a grand manner in the temple with a large number of people cutting across religious barriers participating in it. Thrikkakkara in Travancore 61 Naduvazhis jointly organised the onam festival with the leadership of Maharaja of travancore.Ananthapadmanabhan the title holder of Chempil Arayan Ananthapadmanabhan Valiya Arayan participated the onam festival with H.H.the Maharaja of Travancore.Address of family: Chempil Valiya Arayan Family Welfare Society.
