Chettikulangara Bhagavathy Temple, Mavelikkara
 

Chettikulangara Bhagwathy Temple houses a shrine of Bhagavathy and is highly renowned among all religions. Situated at a distance of around 30 km from Alappuzha, the temple offers some dazzling vistas and picturesque beauty. Interestingly, people residing in the vicinity of the temple strongly believe that the temple's god bears majestic magical powers.
 
With the beginning of Kumbha Bharani, the temple drowns in the hues of various activities during February and March. The highlight of the festival is Kuthiyottam and Kettukazhcha.
